A 25-year-old man from San Ramon won the Mega Jackpot in the Wheel of Fortune at El Dorado Casino. At first, Nino Cefalu thought he had won $2.000, which seemed to be a good amount. When a Casino hostess told him he had won $1 million, he couldn’t believe it.

Immediately, several members of the Casino’s security team appeared from various doors and started asking him questions. They also tested the machine for possible frauds. Cefalu had put only $100 into the slot machine.

Such big payouts are not usual for casinos. Rick Murdock, El Dorado spokesman, said the Casino draws checks for amounts that big only once or twice a year, at most.
