Casino workers will be trained to detect gambling addiction
O/E Learning has launched a web-based training course for casino personnel entitled “Responsible Gaming”, which is aimed at increasing awareness on the signs of problem gambling.
The course will provide an introduction to gambling issues and modules on the history of gambling, the involvement online casino staff can have and how to recognize the early signs of gambling addiction.
It also provides advice on how to deal with online casino customers and the different types of treatment available.
Gambling addiction is an increasing problem all over the world. Gambler Anonymous associations are working really hard to fight against it, but they have publicly said that now the most dangerous threaten could be online gambling, as it cannot be controlled. Studies reveal that Internet gambling addiction is affecting mainly young people.
